Creating Buttons from CSS

If you are new user for css and would like to make the buttons from css with hover effect. It’s very simple to make Buttons from CSS.

Firstly we need to make html code as shown below. I had keep button into div with anchor along span too. If you are thinking why to use span as we can do without span too. But for standard format of button better to keep span too inside anchor.If you want to keep icon on button then that makes easy in future too.But for now we will not keep icon in the button either any background image.

After your HTML is done then it’s time to switch into css code to give design effect. You can see we had declare one class as “button” on html page.So, from that class we will control the button from css. On the below you can see css code . We had used button width 122px even though our button width was 116px.
It’s because we have border of 2px around the button so we will exclude border width same as height too.

Object Oriented CSS (OOCSS)

Is your CSS easy for another person to deal with? If they want to add a new element to the design, would they find it easy to build on your work, or would they have to create brand new class or ID declarations for each addition?

I’m sure we can all agree that none of these outcomes are much fun, and the less painful it is to deal with someone else’s CSS, the better. So let’s see how Object Oriented CSS have benefits on your project.

Object Oriented CSS isn’t really a framework … but a way of writing scalable, sane, maintainable CSS.Object Oriented CSS (OOCSS) is making a mental shift towards easy maintenance and reuse of your styles, even if it means writing extra HTML markup.

Object Oriented CSS methodologies help you to look beyond your immediate design goals and organize your code so that adding new site content that reuses the same styles in the future becomes trivial. With OOCSS, adding a new type of page to your site should mean that there’s no need to create additional CSS styles or selectors. New page types should be able to reuse existing CSS styles as much as possible.

An Example in Code

Let’s say every page of your site had a sidebar, the code for which looked like this:

Traditionally, your approach to this might be to add a class to your page’s

Then you would set about writing a bunch of style rules like this one:

The approach recommended by Object Oriented CSS is quite different

In OOCSS, instead of a single class applied to the body of your page, you would create a new class for each type of element that you wanted to change for the sale. Here’s what the sale style for the sidebar might look like:

}
This class is said to extend the existing class that describes the standard style for the element. You then apply it in addition to the existing (base) class:

If you’re lucky enough to be the only front-end developer working on a project, you might like to take the OOCSS principles for a spin. Where the reusability benefits of OOCSS really shine, however, is when working in a team environment.

Content editors can write the content that slots into those structures with confidence, knowing that only the styles they expect will be applied to the content they write.



Adding Pagination on wordpress

Adding Pagination on wordpress is the most popular way to show the post. Instead of showing the default “Next Page” and “Previous Page” links, Pagination allows the visitors to select which page they want to jump to. This is how to build this function into your WordPress theme.

Step 1:
First Download the wordpress pagination Plugin
download the plugin and extract the files.
Step 2:
Find the files called wp-pagenavi.php and wp-pagenavi.css and move them to your theme’s directory.
Step 3:

Now you’ll need to replace the old code that calls the default “Next” and “Previous” links with the new code that calls for Pagination. To do this, go to your theme files and replace this:


 next_posts_link('Previous entries') ?>
 previous_posts_link('Next entries') ?>


With this:

Step 4: 

Now we have to do a tiny bit of editing in the wp-pagenavi.php file.  So open it up and go to line 61 to find this:

Many developed country are focusing to outsource the web project in nepal where manpower are cheaper in compering with developed country. So many web designer of nepal getting chance to work of the foreign country. In one side web designer are being hire on high cost on other side web market of nepal was not going on developing because  of outsourcing the foreign project .
